After making a couple of subtle-sounding-turned hit tracks, folk singer-songwriter Shirebound and Busking is set to launch his debut album For Princesses, By Thieves O Mga Awit Ng Hiraya Para Sa Guni-Guning Sinta this Friday, 29 March 2019, at Route 196 in Quezon City.
As long as it sounds, For Princesses, By Thieves O Mga Awit Ng Hiraya Para Sa Guni-Guning Sinta comprises of ten tracks, including a few tracks that made him a notable name in the music scene today such as Waltz Of Four Left Feet, Lloydy, Bulan, and Aninipot.
One of the popular stripped-down but hitting straight in-your-face angst songs today, Waltz Of Four Left Feet has been the soloist's staple hit; It became part of a Vandals On The Wall mixtape at one point, and of a soundtrack for the movie Kuya Wes. The ditty Bulan song was done in collaboration with acclaimed Stages artist Coeli, while the carrier single Aninipot featured a partnership effort from Elements camp singer-songwriter Bea Lorenzo.
Produced by Ean Aguila of Ang Bandang Shirley and Eelectric Studio, the 10-track record will also have newly-recorded tracks Relapse, Tunnels, and Miss Mosh.
Truly a promising Friday night for the #hugot ones, For Princesses, By Thieves O Mga Awit Ng Hiraya Para Sa Guni-Guning Sinta launch will feature live performances from other hitmakers and balladeers such as Ang Bandang Shirley, Coeli, Munimuni, Oh Flamingo!, and The Ridleys. That's, of course, aside from the long set from this acclaimed folk musician. This gig starts at 9:00PM. Door charge is priced PhP300 by showtime onwards. However, enter before 9:00PM and you'll have a 50-peso discount (PhP250).
