PWR caps the big 2019 with Vendetta

11/12/2019 03:27:00 AM

Philippine Wrestling Revolution may have reached its pinnacle of success when they staged its biggest show last month, but the promotion isn't finished yet as they will put the Vendetta to close out the year – and the decade that saw the sport rise once again.

Barely a month since waging the special show called Homecoming, PWR returns to its home of two years – the Power Mac Center Spotlight – for its year-ender show featuring two tag-team elimination matches called Ubusan Ng Lahi. PWR Vendetta 2019 is also set to emphasize the return of Shaukat to the land. The Filipino-Malaysia star from Malaysia Pro Wrestling (MyPW) felt he has been slighted after not being invited to the previous show despite being Filipino and helping bring recognition to the scene.

“I might not be from the WWE like [TJ Perkins], or from New Japan Pro Wrestling or Ring of Honor like Jeff Cobb, maybe I’m not as beautiful as [Billy Suede], but I have Filipino blood coursing in my veins. Unlike those guys, I have contributed so much more to the Philippine wrestling industry. I was the very first person to bring Filipino wrestlers to the eyes of Southeast Asia,” Shaukat declared.

Barely months since facing JDL in a PWR show, Shaukat charges back to the Filipino mainland alongside four other wrestling superstars from Malaysia as he challenged the Philippine squad bannered by Mr. Philippine Wrestling himself, Jake De Leon. Will our stalwarts once again prevail against the raging foreigners?

Meanwhile, the new era begins in PWR as MSG has asserted dominance in the promotion's latest outing, thanks to Chris Panzer who bagged home the PWR Championship after the thrilling three-way match with former Kampeon ng Pilipinas QUATRO Ring of Honor's Jeff Cobb. What's next for this faction's journey to #MSGAllBelts, aside from facing the PWOGs in a tag team match?

Also, taking place at PWR Vendetta is another Ubusan ng Lahi Match between the Naughty Boys and Koponan Tutan. Friendship and betrayal have been the fuel of this rivalry, and it reached new heights and circles. Will Tutan's new stable prevail against his former friends?

The Queen of Philippine Wrestling is up for another international challenge! The new WINDKS Women's Champion has faced the likes of Emi Sakura, Riho, and Desiree Derata earlier in the year, but the quest never stops as she is about to square off with Phoenix for the MyPW Wrestlecon Championship. Will Crystal be habing two belts by the end of the year?

In a rematch from Homecoming, Jan Evander is set to take on the champion Martivo in another All Out Warla Championship match. Meanwhile, MTNH has reunited once again, and they will face the YOLO Twins in another tag team contest. Plus, singles action will be set for one fall between AB3 and Revo Ranger.

Other PWR such as PHX Champion Chino Guinto will be also seen in action during this event.

Catch PWR Vendetta 2019 on 24 November 2019 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight in Circuit Makati. Tickets are already available at Ticket2Me.net for only P399 for a single ticket and P1,099 for a Barkada Bundle of three tickets.
