McDonald's Happy Meal Buy 1 Share 1 program reaches typhoon survivors in various areas

12/22/2020 11:27:16 PM

McDonald's Philippines has launched the Happy Meal Buy 1 Share 1 program last 27 November, and since it has made a huge difference by distributing books and toys with the help of partner organizations such as the Philippine Red Cross, Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation, Philippine Business for Social Progress, Manila Water Foundation and Makati Med Foundation.

Initially, the beneficiaries of McDo's Happy Meal Buy 1 Share 1 program mostly are children from areas affected by typhoons Rolly and Ulysses such as those in Rizal, Marikina, Albay, Batangas, Quezon, Catanduanes, Camarines Sur, Pampanga, and Sorsogon, while a number of local government units and non-government organizations and all Bahay Bulilit communities are also part of it.

This was done, thanks to everyone who took part in the program that has its objective of helping spread happiness to Filipino children for this holiday season. Even the smallest things or actions count because every Happy Meal purchase that goes for as low as Php90 can make not just one, but two children happier as McDonald’s matches each purchase by gifting a toy or a book to kids from partner beneficiaries.

Even so with the output, it's not too late for McDonald's customers to participate because the Happy Meal Buy 1 Share 1 Program runs until the 31st of December. It doesn't take much to make someone smile this season, so make the few days before the year ends count by dropping by to your nearest McDonald’s via Dine-In, Take Out, or Drive-Thru, or order via McDelivery.
