Newsletter: THE TEKKEN SERIES CELEBRATES ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF ITS SOUNDTRACK RELEASE FOR TEKKEN 8, THE LATEST INSTALLMENT IN THE SERIES

[THIS IS A PRESS RELEASE]

Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. is pleased to announce the release of its soundtrack for TEKKEN 8, the latest addition to the TEKKEN series. The soundtrack will be available worldwide on streaming platforms beginning January 26th, the same day the game goes on sale. The CD goes on sale March 13th, with pre-orders starting January 14th.

The soundtrack will feature a total of 42 songs, including battle music from TEKKEN 8 as well as a variety of other tracks, such as music featured in the TEKKEN FIGHT LOUNGE, the game's large-scale online visual lobby. All tracks add up to over 170 minutes in total, making this one content-rich release.

Best enjoyed as a stage-by-stage experience, the soundtrack features a massive variety of musical styles, from EDM to hard rock. Listeners will discover the music through intricately designed stages which come together as a phenomenal soundtrack that could only be described as "genreless”.

TEKKEN 7 (Original Soundtrack vol.2) is now available on various streaming platforms for the first time, featuring music from TEKKEN 7 FATED RETRIBUTION as well as tracks added to the console version's season pass.

About Bandai Namco Game Music
Bandai Namco Game Music is a sound label launched by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. It was created to share the joy of video game music with the world, with a focus on music from games released by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.

Releases focus on background music from Bandai Namco original IPs such as PAC-MAN, TEKKEN, Taiko no Tatsujin, ACE COMBAT, and the Tales of series, as well as game and service collaborations with other Bandai Namco Group companies and our partner companies, beginning with ELDEN RING.

To further expand the horizons of the game music industry, Bandai Namco Game Music also collaborates with BNE's existing sound label, ASOBINOTES. ASOBINOTES produces projects like DEN-ON-BU and the Tales of Dream Project, which break down the barriers between games, music, and live entertainment.
