On 29th August, rising global boy group ONE OR EIGHT has released two consecutive singles, each serving as an “anthem of challenge” for dreamers and those embracing their individuality.
The first track, “Young & Reckless” (out 29th August), captures the concept of “Like a kid”, an uninhibited spirit that embraces challenges without fear of judgment. Produced by Kavi (co-producer of Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” which debuted at No. 2 on U.S. Billboard Hot 100) and Edwin Honoret of PRETTYMUCH, the song blends futuristic electronic textures with nostalgic 90s-00s boyband influences, channeling the rebellious, free-spirited energy at the heart of ONE OR EIGHT. The accompanying music video will premiere on 29th August at 9PM JST, stream it here. Together with the upcoming follow-up single “BET YOUR LIFE”, it forms their “anthem of challenge” series, each track spotlighting a different dimension of boldly facing life. Through “Young & Reckless”, ONE OR EIGHT delivers a powerful statement on living life to the fullest.

Since their debut in 2024, ONE OR EIGHT has quickly built a global presence, making two consecutive appearances on Korean music programmes with “DSTM” and “365”, an unprecedented achievement for an all Japanese group, and holding fan meetings in six countries within their first year.
Their breakout single “DSTM” made history as the first by a Japanese boy group to enter the U.S. Mediabase Top 40 radio chart. Building on that momentum, the group has also signed a major global deal with Atlantic Music Group, marking a significant step forward in their international journey. With these milestones, ONE OR EIGHT is steadily expanding their global presence and shaping the foundation for long term success worldwide.
