Knocked Down In 16 Seconds

7/15/2014 10:59:14 PM

I rarely watch any matches from the Ultimate Fighting Championship; and in case I managed to really catch up, I ended up seeing this lady named Ronda Rousey.

Wow, this chick’s not just your ordinary fighter, aye? She’s been jeered like a wrestling; heel and the next time around, praised like a real champ. Prior to battling Alexis Davis on UFC 175, Rousey had dominated almost all of her MMA fights by submission – with 7 of her 8 armbar victories came on the first round alone.

Now that’s a toughass chick right there.

And she just went even bad as expected when she dealt the then-number two contender her first loss… in just 16 seconds!

Yes, 16 freaking seconds. Aren’t convinced? Watch this. (video from http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=11181111)

Man, even Sheamus can’t top that one. (P.S. Who the hell is Sheamus? He’s the guy who defeated Daniel Bryan in WrestleMania 28 in just mere 18 seconds to snatch the World Heavyweight Championship.)

So, is she another coming of those power-boxers-slash-grapplers such as the likes of Mike Tyson and even Brock Lesnar? Nah, either way, it would be unfair to compare though.
