The Scene Around: Late Night with Docdef

12/22/2016 08:27:37 PM

Last week, Docdef Productions threw up a Christmas party that served like your favorite wee-hour show in television.

Dubbed as Late Night with Docdef, the gig boasted some of the newcomers and already-bigwigs; the bands that played for Docdef over the past three years of their existence in the independent music scene. Present on stage were Banna Harbera, Farewell Fair Weather, Autotelic, Mayonnaise, Rob & The Hitmen, Alasmedya and Ube, with the latter two putting up a huge stint during their respective sets near-end of the event.

The two bands were further joined by Kim Hue Jin and Isagani Palabyab of Farewell Fair Weather, and Monty Macalino of Mayonnaise – who sent every Alasmedya musician to their fandom side after playing drums for one of their songs.

And an even interesting twist the evening: the announcement of partial lineup for Tagaytay Art Beat 2 midway of a Mayonnaise song.
