Power Mac Center intros the trend-setting House of Marley’s Liberate Air True Wireless Earphones to PH

11/25/2019 11:15:45 PM

Power Mac Center adds a new innovative product to its arsenal, a sound gadget that poises to make a change for the better of the environment.

The digital lifestyle innovator introduces the House of Marley’s (HOM) Liberate Air True Wireless Earphones to the Philippine market.

HOM's Liberate  Air is an eco-friendly pair of headphones carefully crafted from sustainable materials such as bamboo, recycled silicone, and fabric. This product is offered through the “Sounds Good! Coastal Cleanup” campaign made through a partnership with HOM and non-profit organization CORA (Communities Organized for Resource Allocation) Philippines that was held at the Las Piñas-Parañaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area (LPPCHEA).

Power Mac Center's latest introduction came in time as a report by UN Environment Programme revealed that the global tech industry produces 50 million tons of electronic and electrical waste (e-waste), with only 20% of it formally recycled. Known for its sustainability efforts, House Of Marley has changed the norm in an industry that usually faces a challenge in sourcing materials that are both good for the planet and able to get the job done. The audio brand proposes better-for-the-planet alternatives that prove that quality audio doesn't have to compromise with the state of our environment. Both HOM and PMC is encouraging everyone to join the trend and be conscious of the ecological impact of the products they consume.

“PMC introduces House of Marley’s Liberate Air True Wireless Earphones, a premium quality wireless pair that doesn’t compromise its ecological impact. With the recent ‘Sounds Good!’ coastal cleanup, our goal is to not only support HOM and its strong commitment to its advocacy but also give back for the protection of the environment. We at Power Mac Center are conscious of our ecological footprint, and therefore are taking bigger leaps towards environmental sustainability,” said Joey Alvarez, PMC's Director of Product Management, Marketing and Space Planning.

Liberate Air was engineered with audio systems that make up for HOM’s “signature sound” which is about highlighting the energy, emotion, and detail of every recording; and as a result, providing more meaningful audio experiences and ultimately leading to positive change. Resistant to sweat and water droplets with a sensor-activated touch control technology feature for easy use, its product quality and style were designed for active lifestyles and make a perfect companion for any activity—whether running in the park, doing cardio exercises at the gym, or going hiking out in the mountains.

HOM's Liberate Air has a two-hour charging time that offers a nine-hour onboard battery life plus an additional 32-hour playtime stored in its case for another two hours of charging. This pair of earphones is utilizing Bluetooth 5.0 that easily pairs with any device with Bluetooth connectivity within a 10-meter range.

“House of Marley prides itself with fusing quality and sustainability as the core foundation of the brand. We strive to reduce our environmental impact by using materials such as nontoxic silicone, wood-fiber composite resin, and ground plastic. From sustainably harvested materials to upcycled fabrics, our products are eco-friendly, including the packaging. Ultimately, we promote a lifestyle that supports products that are beneficial for the environment and, at the same time, able to deliver the optimal audio quality,” said Sunil Karamchandani, COO of Innovee Trading, the exclusive distributor of House of Marley in the Philippines.

HOM advocat6es environmental sustainability and a living testament to this is by actively taking part in initiatives that depict environment preservation. Globally, HOM backs a non-profit organization called One Tree Planted, which combats global deforestation by conducting tree-planting activities worldwide. “Sounds Good!” is its first environmental campaign in the Philippines and it plans to continue this path with more initiatives in the long run.

Liberate Air True Wireless Earphones are exclusively available at these Power Mac Center branches (Greenbelt 3, Power Plant Mall, TriNoma, SM Megamall, and SM Mall of Asia) for the price of PhP 8,990.00. More of House of Marley’s eco-friendly audio products are available at select Power Mac Center branches.
