After having a bunch of hit episodes on their YouTube channel, Ben&Ben has recently launched their official fan club.
The club, called “Liwanag” was made as an initiative to help spread the band’s message of faith, hope, and love. It was initially launched as a different namesake – Lights – last 3 September 2020. But a naming change took place to avoid confusion from the previous iteration, which happened to be a fan
club of a certain artist in Korea.
Presented with the opportunity to instill a deeper purpose in building a community that inspires people and connecting with fans on a more meaningful and intimate level, the award-winning band decided to rename their fan base from the very first iteration as BBs.
Earlier this month, Ben&Ben broke the Internet with their second batch of K-Pop covers featuring songs by BTS, GOT7, EXO, and more. #BBTVkpoptwo trended on Twitter Philippines at #1 again, similar to the previous BBTV episodes.
