Newsletter: Blogapalooza navigates the influencer-verse in its 7th year

[THIS IS A PRESS RELEASE]

Launches BX Talent Management and prepares for the great BlogaFest comeback

The Philippines’ premier influencer marketing, Blogapalooza, marked its 7th year of fostering brand-influencer collaborations on Saturday, June 18, via a virtual event.

With the theme “Navigating the Influencer-verse,” Blogapalooza aims to continue adopting, innovating and navigating the present and future industry trends and developments for its community and clients.

Growing amid the difficulties the Bloga way!
Joined by the whole BlogaFam, clients, and media friends, the back-to-back celebration for the BlogaFam as #BlogaTurns7 was packed with exciting games, prizes, and announcements.

Blogapalooza shared that the business grew exponentially as creators and influencers have become an integral part of every marketing plan and strategy. Despite the difficulties brought by the pandemic, Blogapalooza considered the past two years as the “years of harvest” for the influencer community.

“From the very beginning, we knew that real power lies in engaged communities that are diverse and yet inclusive. We were the first who believed that the industry was a sleeping giant, and so we built the foundations of the influencer community. Fast forward to 2022, we are grateful for a season of harvest, but we have always kept the mindset of sowing further as we reap grander,” Blogapalooza CEO Ace Gapuz noted.

Blogapalooza saw the unprecedented growth of the creators and influencers’ community in the country and in the Southeast Asian region. Gapuz noted that the company was able to serve more brands and agency affiliates, both local and internationally, and launched multiple business units as part of the company’s portfolio all while working remotely.

Rebooting BlogaFest: Bolder, bigger, and a thousand times better

One of the biggest announcements made during Blogapalooza’s anniversary celebration is the most-awaited comeback of BlogaFest with a new twist: the Creator and Influencer Awards.

“I know that our BlogaFam has been waiting so long for this, and so, we are very excited to introduce a first in Blogapalooza history. We have partnered with our good friends from Tellscore Thailand, along with our network of influencer marketing leaders in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Australia, to stage the largest gathering of content creators and influencers in the Asia Pacific,” Gapuz shared.

BlogaFest is the Philippines’ first and largest gathering of bloggers, social media influencers, content creators, and internet celebrities. With the Creator and Influencer Awards, BlogaFest has become bigger, bolder, and a thousand times better.

“This industry has always been driven by relationships that drive results, and because of this, we look forward to scaling things up with and through more local and international partnerships,” Gapuz furthered.

Navigating the influencer-verse with BX and a Content Creation Hub

Apart from sharing their company milestones, Blogapalooza also shared some of the programs that the influencer community should watch out for.

“We believe that the future of digital is the Metaverse and influencer marketing will play an important role in its development and advancement. With that, we are proud to launch BX by Blogapalooza,” Gapuz added.

BX by Blogapalooza accelerates the company’s mission to #ElevateInfluence by empowering talents, nurturing content creators, and expanding their horizons through opportunities in media and other avenues. Through BX, creators and influencers are assured of their career growth as Blogapalooza will continue equipping them with the right knowledge to enhance their skills and providing them with one-of-a-kind opportunities through the company’s extensive media and brand ecosystem.

Blogapalooza will also be launching a Content Creation Hub where creators can collaborate and incubate ideas for various digital channels.

“With our deep understanding of the psyche of creators, we recognize the importance of having offline environments to help create authentic conversations on different platforms. We see these programs to be an important development as the industry grows and matures, and we’re very happy that some of our partners have pledged support for this endeavor,” Gapuz furthered.

Building a 10,000-strong network of influencers for seven Bloga-mazing years

Blogapalooza’s CEO shared that she looks forward to the future full of excitement and hope as they gear up for the initiatives they lined up for the BlogaFam and their partners. “We recognize that creators have always needed support systems to help them bring out their most creative work while being able to sustain their passions with avenues for monetization,” she said.

Indeed, building a strong network of influencers was not an easy task. But, with the support of the whole community, Blogapalooza has been steadfast in breaking the boundaries and creating concepts that #ElevateInfluence.

“It takes a village to build something monumental. I’d like to thank every single person who has been part of building Blogapalooza with us since day one. It indeed takes a village, and Blogapalooza is very fortunate to have plenty of villagers looking out for us and rooting for our success,” Gapuz closed.

Blogapalooza’s 7th anniversary was made possible with the help of Del Monte Philippines, Ysera Skin, LuxeOrganix Philippines, Canva, Get Well Supplies, Nomadhood, Enervon, AsiaTV Studios, and Blue Mango Resort.
