The Scene Around: 2013 Miss Earth Press Conference

12/‎15/‎2013 08:29:18 AM

Forgive me for posting such events a little bit late than the usual, but here's something that me and my fellow writers on both Definitely Filipino and Kicker Daily websites have spotted last month.

Along with the hundreds of media personnel and as well as bloggers in attendance, we flocked the vicinity of F1 Hotel in Bonifacio Global City for the yearly edition of Miss Earth 2013. Carousel Productions organized the entire series of events.

The introduction of the candidates was held 10 in the morning at the said venue. Supposedly it will went beyond noontime, until rainfall hit the city then, prompting everyone to move inside for shelter and continue the happening.

And true enough to tell that early in the game, several contests are already handpicked to either be among the top favorites or for the winner of crown that was disputed last December 7 at the pageant's coronation night at the Versailles Palace in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. One of them is Alyz Henrich of Venezuela.

Apparently, Henrich went on to top all the 90 contestants and took home the prestigious prize.

Then-Miss Earth 2012 Tereza Fajksová of Czech Republic took part and spoke about what are we supposed to look forward on this year's pageant.

As the rites culminated, we occupied the hallways for the respective tasks of news scoops through interviews.

And honestly speaking, even our local bet Angelee delos Reyes have shown potential to be one. Or maybe, that's just in my perception when I saw personally saw her and took a photograph.

I guess she faltered on the last but the most biggest portion of every beauty contest - the Question and Answer portion.

Anyway, congratulations to Ms. Venezuela, and as well to the other winners and contenders whom took part in the event.

As now I conclude the post, more photos of the Miss Earth 2013 Press Conference that yours truly along with my other blogger friend from Definitely Filipino have captured, can be seen at my Facebook page soon.
