We may have been hours away from witnessing the second's biggest WWE pay-per-view event, the one they called “the biggest party of the summer,” and coinciding with an all-heavy music fetsival in the Philippines.

The 31st edition of SummerSlam is poised to take off on Sunday evening at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York (Monday morning Philippine time), their third-straight tiume in staging the event at the said venue.  And for over the decade, SummerSlam were only situated in two venues: Barclay Center and Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

It was surprising that Akira Tozawa won the Crusierweight Championship from Neville. The latter's championship run could've ended perfectly if it takes place at SummerSlam. But anyway, it seems to me that Titus' Cruiserweight brand will retain. Still can't deny the fact that the Japanese crusierweight has been deprived of having a big SummerSlam month. Shame.

Jason Jordan and The Hardy Boyz versus The Miz and Miztourage, a feud that doesn't seemingly make enough sense. Like seriously. But for the sake of picking sides, I'd probably go with Kurt Angle's illegitimate (and kayfabe) son because thing will go extreme and about to be broken.

It''s the New Day against the Usos for the SmackDown tag team championships for the preshow. And why? Well, blame the stack card they have right now. And just like what they did two years ago, the New Day will still be dancing all over Brooklyn with the blue duo golds. Hopefully, that will pave the way for other tag teams in the SD Live to circulate along the title picture.

Finn Balor versus Bray Wyatt. Looks like a god has meet its demon after three yars, and this should pave the way for a serious run by the Demon King. It's kinda sad that probably after this night, Wyatt will end up being a midcard jobber again.

But hey, talk about psycho-wars about to unfold come Sunday!
