Lakbay Baybay Adventure Tour returns to Marikina and Mandaluyong

10/11/2019 01:01:44 AM

For two weekends this October, TAGA-ALOG roams around the cities of Mandaluyong and Marikina with the return of Lakbay Baybay Adventure Tour.

TAGA-ALOG's Lakbay Baybay is a total trip – literally and figuratively – as it lets participants embark on a journey of rediscovery through beautiful cities united by the historic Ilog Pasig. Expect to visit selected heritage sites, as well as local heroes, delicacies, and stories of the people. The re-immersion experience also comes with an objective – that is to educate participants of their cultural identity in a fun and interactive manner.

The first highlighted city for this special tour is Marikina City. Expect a fun activity wherein two teams must create signature MarikeƱo shoes, parts of which are scattered throughout the city. The said participating groups are tasked to go head to head in winning the favor of Mr. Santos, an investor, by presenting Marikina’s state-of-the-art footwear. Only one team can succeed to help the people of Marikina.

Meanwhile, in Mandaluyong City, participants are set to solve a mysterious incident as the whole town is in a ruckus due to missing laundry or sinampay. They will be tasked to look for clues around town in the hopes of finding the culprit behind the curious incident, a certain Lavandero named Mang Jimmy. Also, the players must discover who are the Lavanderos of the city and what stories hide behind the corners of the Tiger City Mandaluyong.
